Sculpture and her mirror let the blood throbbing through the speakers douse light hearts with a passion for dance. Intimate pelvic on pelvic animations had lured one or two – or possibly more – admirers in their racy grinding. Lips had betrayed gentle kisses and affectionate nips upon the neck on either of their images. Every movement was made on purpose. Actions meld in expertly to the dynamic and tempo of the ever-pulsating lament of techno and rock echoing in their skulls. The leader fondled the hand of her reflection imitating her every move, opposite palm outstretched and tracing the contours of an appealing anatomy.
“Do you think they like this, Lillian?” Giggled the doppelganger, scrubbing vigorously through the luxurious feel of her sister’s freefalling, auburn waves.
The duplicate dubbed Lily let her supple lips tug into a smirk. In an almost starving tone the twin let out a moan. “Who knows? Just shut up and dance, Gwen.”
Gwendolyn easily obliged to her commander’s instructions with a gentle rub of her partially exposed chest into her sibling’s. Either was clad in a set of long ribbed tank tops hugging their bust; Gwen wore white beneath a green one and Lillian just the opposite. Both wore beryl skirts that fit snug about the shape of their petite curves, plaid with white. Hem tickled their thighs as they danced, not quite caring what was exposed in the languid twirls and graceful lope of their debauched movements.
Fleshy barriers that hid stunning eyes of liquidated emerald peeled open after a while of bumping and slipping bodies against the shrieking crowd. Though brow beaded with perspiration the ringleader of the devilish duet let her pearls flash towards her twin. “How about a drink, Lovely?” Soft tone warbled as her cheek nuzzled into Gwen’s red-tinted locks affectionately. Her sister responded by snatching up Lily’s hand and yanking her near the bar where they giggled and flirted in their unabashed tendencies.
Drinks tirelessly passed their lips as they were dished out at will from the malignant keeper of the liquor they tainted their organs with. Perhaps he was hoping to get the two young twins, appearing at the age of twenty-three, drunk and unconscious for a night of guilty pleasure. No such luck as they fed each other shot by shot with mischievous glee – their true identity but a tantalizing enigma. Immortality had its benefits of teasing. It was most fun mocking sex-hounds like the bartender as they downed so many, and yet remained impervious to the effects of alcohol.
Giggling, Gwen shook her head and snuggled her spine into the counter, waving her drink into the air. “Where do you suppose he is at?” The twin smiled.
Lillian only shrugged with the same smile tracing her porcelain façade. “Dunno. We should really find him though.” Yawning, it was almost like she could care less. “Before he decides to go elsewhere. Though being throttled for not reporting our migrating here sounds wonderful.”
From there the twins sat and continued their chattering, rating assorted men in the club, and sipping from their drinks in relaxation.

"I was hoping I could take it out on someone," Yoshiko said to Xyphos. Actually, after talking to Jake, he had started an unconcious few-hour countdown to when Jake got off of work.
"And no, I haven't fed yet. I was just on my way out to do so," he added, smiling.

A shiver ran down Tess's spine. She had heard enough tidbits to know what would happen next to the vampire's prey. Closing her book she stood and scanned the dancers nearby for Randy. Not a howl of him was visible. Breathing deeply she pushed her self thru the outer layer of dancers, uncomfortably bumped and jostled as she helplessly searched for her friend.
~~~
Randy albeit was feeling a tad on the light-headed side. He couldn't remember the last time he felt this tired and exhilerated at the same time. Maybe it was from long days and nights of chasing away unwanted guests of his master, Kanaz, or the other times where Tess dragged him across theme parks.
Shaking off the weariness he slumped down on a bar stool next to a pair of twins. Looking them over for a brief second he noted their look-alike outfits as the tender begrudgingly poured him a water between the twins shots. Emptying the glass in three gulps the lycan scanned the dancers briefly for Tess before noticing the mingling odors of hunger and hysteria amidst sweat, alcohol, and happiness.
Sniffing the air again he noted that Tess was the hysterical one; her scent was familiar to him though she bore a distinct odor similar to apple cider with a touch of garlic. Chuckling to himself he decided it was time to tell her garlic did not keep her safe from vampires, that was just a typical human myth.
Xyphos's eyes flashed as a slow smirk spread across his face. "Perfect," he all but purred. "Won't you join me for a hunt then?" It was shaped like a question, but easily identified as an order. While Xyphos generally hunted alone, having a hunting partner was usually an interesting experience, depending on the personality of the other vampire.
He frowned after a moment though. "You do know not to kill, right?" He had enough problems trying to deal with the weak-willed, lesser vampires and newly-turned ones that tended to not have enough self-restraint to stop. Having unexplainable deaths by blood loss without any major wounds were difficult to cover up and raised unwanted questions by the mortal populace.
Yoshi smiled. "Of course I will." Now that food was being mentioned, he remembered how he hadn't eaten since he had gotten off the plane yesterday, having been in meetings or in a fight with his now ex.
"And I'm not that green. Jamien taught me."
Now, that was a name to pay attention to. Jamien was actually an older vampire that went around to towns that had a big increase in new vampires, and trained them not to kill, or, as they occasional mistake happened, how to cover the tracks of a human dying bloodlessly.
Xyphos grinned slightly. "Good. Jamien's a good teacher. He taught me when I was scarcely a year old and still had to be hunted for. He's a good friend."
Xyphos abruptly smirked and turned to survey the crowd. "Ah well. There will be time to reminisce later. For now, you're hungry, I'm hungry, and there's a delightfully misinformed young girl who's been eavesdropping on our conversation and still believes that garlic actually works. Shall we go educate her?"
The constant drumming music, the lack of oxygen and personal space, Tess found her self wanting to drop down and forget everything. I have to keep moving, she told herself despite the ever persisting beating that was persisting her to conform to the monotonous drone. For someone who hated being in cramped conditions Tess at least had not broken down, reduced to a blubbering puddle, yet.
"Tess!"
The name was barely audible over the music but she recognized it anyway. She stood on her toes, trying to see beyond the familiar dancers. A hand groped her, and was was slapped away with Arthur Miller's The Crucible. About to press further through the dancing crowd, Tess felt that same dreaded hand lock onto onto her wrist. The action was so sudden there was nothing to do but walk through the wall of mindless zombies.
"Tess! Are you okay?" Randy passed her a glass of water from the bar. Her cheeks were pale and her hands felt cold. "One vodka drowned in Cherry Coke," he laid a bill on the counter not concerned with what it was.
"Thank gods!" She wrapped her arms around his torso in a brief embrace. "Okay, you've danced, can we go now?!" Her voice was pleading and she was already walking to the door.
"Just drink this," he handed her the glass which she gulped gratefully. "Alright. Now take a few deep breaths, and count to ten. There," placing the glass on the bar he grasped her hand and started for the door.
"No, Randy! We can't go that way!" Going out the main entrance would mean walking by the vampires, who Tess was keen on avoiding. "We'll go through the fire exit," as she kicked open the door an alarm resounded through the hall just louder than the music. Pushing the dumb-founded lycan into the dingy city air.
((sorry about the funky o's. The text didn't transfer properly from my computer to the internet cafe one. when I find a cheaper place I'll modify it.
Done for you, darling. Nothing else touched, I promise. - Lali))
Xyphos raised an eyebrow at the human's crazed escape. Well, this was bound to be interesting. Grinning at Yoshi, motioned towards the back fire exit. "Care for a chase?"
((Whoot! Life! Despite an incredibly short post on my part. But at least we're out of the club and this'll hopefully give Ru a place to jump in. XD *huggles Ru*))
OOC: Let's hear it for lame ways of bringing characters to ACTION!
IC Oh, wonderful. Here he was, underage in a club, for God's sake, while Jack showed off for a couple of girls and a fire alarm went off.
Cole was out of here.
Ducking around a group of slightly drunk girls, reflecting on the idea that he could call Jack from home and let him know where he'd gone, the boy headed for the fire exit, not willing to trek back across the room to leave.
ooc;// Lali you are an angel. *huggles*
IC:// Ever since Randy knew Tess she had always been a bit eccentric. It wasn't that she was crazy or anything; she just had a tendency to assume too much and take a little thing way out of proportion.
Tess tried to drag Randy out of they alley, but he had his own personal gym trainer. Not to mention that he ran and fought for a living. "Just take a moment to calm down, Tess, and tell me exactly why you are so freaked."
On the other end of the conversation all her mind could think about was how she left her wooden stake and rosary at home. Despite her slight obsession with the darker side of life Tess was oddly a devote Catholic. Her parents were non-practicing Episcopalians. Three nice slow breaths, her inner voice sang.
"Okay. I'm calm." She looked up into his eyes. Amidst all the innocence, curiosity, and care-free nature he still was able to be the elder in their relationship.
((This is Shira posting under Rie's name cause we're both too lazy to log myself out and sign Shira in. XD))
This was definatly interesting, and probably the most fun he was going to have for the next two weeks or so, until the meetings were over. "Definatly," Yoshiko said, grinning, the slight growth of fangs barely obvious in his smile.
((This is really Rie. )) "Good," Xyphos all but purred, stalking his way through the room and out the same fire exit the hysterical girl had gone through. On the way, he raised an eyebrow at a boy headed in the same direction, one that was obviously - at least to him - just a bit too young to be in the club. Stepping outside, he grinned when he noticed the girl and her male companion had not yet left the alley, his fangs flashing slightly in the moonlight. Motioning Yoshi to move behind the boy, he silently dropped behind the girl, waiting for the moment when she would notice his presence. It wouldn't be too long, anyway, after all, who could ever ignore him? ((I love Xyphos, but I have come to realize that he is very full of himself. :/ ))
Randy's lips brushed Tess's hand. She was pale with fright and he was sad to cause her more pain. He knew their odds against the shadowy vampire and the more-than-vampire was slim, but his instincts told him to try. . .
So I'll try.
In a fluid motion he twirlled his friend out of the bloodsucker's clutches and out of the alley. "Run, Tess!" He shouted before standing his ground at the alley's only exit. He could feel his body changing, small changes at first: grayish orange fur growing here, bones shifting there . . . The process was still painful but he had learned to deal with pain. Pain was temporary.
Her body went numb as she rolled onto the sidewalk. Lifting her head she could see a few people waiting for the club to reopen. Club. Dancing. Vampires . . . With a rush of adrenhaline the word thristy teenager ran. She barely knew where she was going only that her living depended on how far away she could get. Passing dumpsters, homeless, parked cars, deranged raccoons, it was only when she passed the prostitutes that she remembered her book was still in the alley. Randy was still in the alley. So were the vampires.
Sometimes your mind can't accept information, and that is when you break down and cry. So she did. Tess fell in the middle of the dingy alley, in a strangely part of town, and cried.
OOC:// Sorry I jumped ahead with Tess a bit. She isn't far away- just two or three blocks straight. A little chase and hard-to-get prey is fun for predators though. Annoying, but fun.
OOC:\\ I have a inverterate habit of ending roleplays with hard to respond to posts. *tilts head* I think this extra post might help. . . I just really enjoy playing paranoid characters and I was hoping this would continue so I could bring out Randy's "omnipotent" master. Your characters will have a field day with the trouble he has gotten himslef into, Ru and Rie. I can't wait! *claps hands* Yes, i know, I'm a dork.
IC:// Randy always has had a problem controling the other side of himself. Just the taste of his lupine power is a struggle for him not to give in to that animal instinct. he considers himself bipolar: his human personality and the wolf. As a boy on the verge of mahood, he often curses that he does not have more control. This is one of those times that he curses his bloodsucking master.
Tess, had to be kept safe, he knew that, so why did the wolf want to risk everything? As a lycan he always knew he could manage an equilibruim between wolf and human, so why did the transformation continue even after he ordered a stop? The moon was waning at a half crescent, but the sweet taste of lupine freedom grew stronger with each heartbeat. Unable to keep the balance he doubled over into his crouching wolf form.
He tried to curse, but all that came out was a curdling bark. Bearing his teeth at the vampires he prepared himself for a beating. Hopefully Tess would be smart, she was always smart, but when it came to the supernatural that Homo sapiens had always denied, she tended to act rashly.
((Omigod! TKE has LIFE!!!))
Xyphos viciously stomped down on the urge to drop his head into his hands and curse the stupidity of the young, merely raising an eyebrow instead. Why oh why did they have to make his job so much harder? He supposed it could be worse. The girl was clearly already informed about what the boy was, so that wasn't as much of a problem, but at least there hadn't been a large human mob here in the alley as the boy transformed.
"Which would you prefer?" he asks Yoshiko nonchalantly. "The stupid little wolf cub or the human female three blocks that way?" he inquires, motioning behind him. It doesn't really matter, in the end. He'd end up doing cleanup and damage control either way, so he might as well be generous.
