SPOILER WARNING! For... well... every Harry Potter book.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out July 21st! I just got the offer to pre-order it from Barnes & Noble. *happy, happy, happy dance* So... now I'm excited. Anyone want to talk theories, etc.? So... if you're still reading... you might want to stop... because I'm gonna say stuff.... Here's what I think. -Dumbledore will not come back. JKR said not to expect him to pull a Gandalf, so... I think he's dead. - Sirius WILL come back. He's just stuck behind a curtain. - Harry is a horcrux! I know it! And he'll have to kill himself. I think. - Remus Lupin will die. - Snape isn't evil! IT WAS PART OF DUMBLEDORE'S PLAN! He'll bring Malfoy back to help Harry. I think. - Ron and Hermione gonna get maaaaaarried! xD Or both die. One of the two. Two people are supposed to die, so... I think it will be either... - Ron and Hermione - Harry and Ginny - Hagrid and  - McGonagall and Snape - Lupin and Wormtail Any thoughts? Oh, and... my driver's ed instructor's name... is Mr. Moony. xDDDD I call him Remus.

I think the two that are going to die are actually Harry and HWMNBN (and if you don't know that acronym, just..... no.) Here are my reasons/spoilers for Book 7:
I believe that Harry, when HWMNBN did the curse on him when he was a year old, the reason why V didnt kill him was because he made Harry a Horcrux. That's why the bond is so great also. Dumbledore did say that it's hard, but not impossible, to make a living thing a Horcrux, because one has to be afraid that that living thing is going to die. But, since Harry is so well protected by Dumbledore (and now Hogwarts / his friends) V knew that he wasn't going to be in too much of harms way. So both of them have to die.
Dumbledore is not coming back. That I also believe.
But Sirius is dead. That I do believe. Harry did try using the mirror to see him, but it didn't work. However, Rowling never said Sirius isn't going to pull a Gandalf, so...... but I lean towards him being dead.
Rowling said (somewhere) that Malfoy isn't going to change sides and help Harry.
Riemman and I were talking last night (one of the several times we were talking, actually) and we more-or-less figured this out -- Dumbledore knew that Snape was going to have to eventually kill him for the OoTP, but he never told Snape this to protect his plan. THAT's why Dumbledore kept him on the Hogwarts staff even though he had to know Snape was evil(ish).
That's my thoughts. And go look at the Nekkid Horse with Daniel Radcliff thread that I started. Even Riemman didn't know about it until I told her.

*thinks Snape is not evil - 'cause he's had so many opportunities to kill people and stop the Forces of Good once 'n' for all, but never did*
I'm another vote for Harry and Mr V (eheh, sorry, couldn't resist) because Rowling's said that she's stopping after seven books, and the only way to really make sure you can't do sequels is to kill off the main character. Plus, you know, the melodrama of an angsty ending.

Yeah. I was wondering if she really meant that only two main people would die. 'Cause that would sort of disappoint me. If Mr V is such an ineffective villain that he can only kill one person off, then... well. He deserves beaten. What have we all been afraid of all this time?

But they can't end the series because now we still will want to know what will happen to Ron and Hermione, how Ginny will be, if hogwarts is still going to be open and what will happen to Draco??? Poor Draco so cute but so evil.
