Like I said, my parents think everyone on this site are 80 year old guys that post fake pictures. And the only reason why they know Riemman isn't one is because they've met her / she's spent the night before. They say the same for Odango (Sheraton / LJ), Nikki (whom I haven't talked to in forever, my friends from Shira Oka, and anyone else that I have yet to really know face to face.
I did post HFR, finally.
And it would be cool to meet you, Ru. Three fiction writers meeting face to face in a public place -- what would come of that?? Lol.

LoL. Only insanity could come from that Shira, as you well know. XD And I posted HFR too, btw. As for my parents, if they ask who I'm IMing with, I tell them it's a friend and leave it at that. XD But I think they'd probably be of the same mindset as Shira's.
But then again, how DO we know that you're not 80-year old weirdos? *shifty eyes* LoL J/K XD
And Ru, if you come this way, we'll have fun terrorizing Chicago and hanging out in my University's game lab. XD

Yeah, the game room, according to Riemman, has a Wii and a PS3 and a bunch of games that goes with it.
And Bree would love to meet you, Ru. That would be fun -- four of the six members meeting face to face.
How many more months to summer time??

0_0 Wiiiiiiiiiiii...
Wheee, I wanna meet you guys too! Too many months... Lali, catch a plane from England!
My parents are convinced that everyone on the Internet is corrupt and will try to kidnap me. I have more online friends than I do real friends! Seriously... *eyeroll*
OMIGAWD SHIRA!!! You guys should come to Pittsburgh over the summer and get tickets to a Pirates game!!! We could so totally inconspicuously meet somewhere in the stadium... I'd bring a friend so that my parents would let us go by ourselves...

The Pirates game sounds fun. Especially if they are playing the Cubs.
Go Cubbies! Maybe this year we can actually get somewhere with a team that's other that the stinky Sox!
And I have more friends online than I do in real life. I think. Lemme count.
Online friends: Riemman (she counts here) Odango Lali Ru Mac Nikki Johann Andrew / Colleen / Unka Josh from Shira-Oka.com
Ten friends.
Real life: Tucker Riemman Tati Amy Age Megan Bree (even though I don't want to admit it) Ramon (even though I want to kick his butt) Shelly 'Kenzie
And we're tied, folks!

I promise you, that's me in the photos I've posted. Honest-to-goodness eighteen-year-old English girl here. *nods and waves*
*wants to catch a plane over and meet you* ... what are you up to August 31st to September 3rd? Are you back at school then?
And how far are you from Atlanta? There's only the biggest fantasy/sci-fi convention going on then... *looks thoughtful*

I thik those are pretty much the same mindsets of all parents. I got in trouble once, about two years back, until I sat down and exxplained everything to my mom. She was cool with it, but my dad is a completely different story.
Anyways, there really is no way that you can know if online peeps are creepy weirdoes with hidden agendas. I don't say guys because there are women out there that do the same thing. I'm planning on writing a thesis on the TV, video games, and the internet has corrupted society and is brainwashing people. *coughs* Of course that doesn't stop me from using them!
I'm about 7 hours from Atlanta, maybe closer if I go to school in Mobile.

Atlanta's pretty far, hun. XD It's also the state that never ends (I've driven through it. XD). Needless to say, my parents probably wouldn't be too willing to let me go on a trip to Atlanta with only a friend or two. T_T August 31st to Sept. 3rd though.....Hmm..... It's near the start of school but I don't know if I'll be back yet. I think school might start the 3rd or the 4th. At least for me. And yeah, I'm just about even with online friends and RL ones too.....Hmmm... XD See, when people tell me to get a life and get off the computer I can honestly tell them that my time on the computer IS life, because I'm forming (hopefully) lasting and complex relationships with other people, bound together by a common interest. XD I like getting technical like that.

I'm going to Florida in April... anyone wanna meet me in Magic Kingdom? xD
Other than that, I can't get any further than Pittsburgh. I don't have a license, my parents would never let me, and I'm totally broke. T_T

Lol. I'm a dunce. There I was, thinking that I start school late August, but I'm graduating high school this year. Hehe.
Atlanta is far away, but if I have a license by then (Riemman, don't you have one?) I'll see what I can do, as I am 18 at that time. Atlanta is about eleven hours or so from Chicago. ACEN is coming up in May (11-13), but I don't think you'll all be able to come up for that. But Riemman and I are going. Whoot for anime!
Almost 18, almost 18, and then freedom! Do dum do.

We are talking about the same Atlanta, right? The one in Georgia? Because it would be more than 11 hrs from Chicago, since I'm about 12 hours away. (I'm probably going crazy. These college applications gave me a brain fart but now that they are done I just stare at scholarships . . . )
You're so lucky, Shira, that you know where you are going, or was that Ru? I just remember someone saying they were accepted into to college along time ago . . .
((I've always liked your avatars, Shira. XD It's like a mini-movie but funnier! *huggs* Thanks for cheering up my day- er- night! *grins*))

*Lol* Yeah. I steal them off other sites. I got one that you're going to like -- I'll change it now.
Atlanta, Georgia is the only Atlanta I can think of. Where do you live, Mac? A'cause we know where everyone else lives but you and Raven. Lali lives in England; Me, Bree, and Riemman all live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago; and Ru lives in Pennsylvania.
And it was Rie that knew where she was going; I have an idea of where I'm going, but nothing is definite yet. Rie's in college now.

Technically, Shira, we're in the west suburbs, not northwest. XD And yes, Atlanta, Georgia is a bit more than 11 hours. Maybe. Actually.....hmm....it's more like 14, cause when we drove to Florida a couple years back, we left the house at 6am and reached Atlanta at 8pm. Approximately. Atlanta's near the middle-ish of the state, and trust me, it feels like the state that never ends. Florida's another one like that. And probably California, though I've never driven through it. And I KNOW Texas is. Damn, I hate that state. XD
And Shira has decided that my inner child is a little gay boy who cuts. XD

I have! But the kitty that is in your signature plays with this little gay emo inner child of yours, which makes it okay.
I sleep in the car anyway, or I bring a book and/or my 'pod. Unless the radio wants to like me, in which I'll sit there and change the stations every 5.4 seconds.

Oh I can't go...No fair. I'm in Arizona, and 2-3 years till my licenses and 4 years till I can leave the house. Plus it would be like a 24 hour drive.

Actually, it's approximately a 48 hour drive from Chicago to Arizona. I've done that too. ^___^;;; And, unfortunately, on drives such as those, I don't really have the option of sleeping in the back. Mommy + Daddy in the front seat = Bad Idea. Seriously. So usually, we relegate Dad to the very back seat so he can sleep or read or whatever, and Mom drives while I'm in the passenger seat. And I can't sleep cause then I make Mom sleepy. >__< Ah well. Now that I've got my license though, I'll probably end up being forced to drive too. *sigh*

At least you have a license. I don't.
But I am 18 before you!
When is the DAU present coming? I'm almost done writing F(L)M, but you know the deal.

Ru is not yet sixteen and is nowhere near college. xDDD I have no idea where I'm going or what I'm going for. I gots no skillz.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIRA ILU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about this: I was out doing stuff all weekend, having a life, and when I got home my mom found a million things to yell at me for.
- my hair (not done the way she wants it) - my homework (surely I have more of it) - my computer habits (... can't say anything there) - my friends (she thinks they're a bad influence) - and WHY ARE YOU NEVER HOME? (when in reality I'm ALWAYS at home)
She thinks I'm shutting myself out from the family. And she wonders why I hide in my room.

Okay, so I'm way off. Well yeah I guess it would be 48 hours. I've gone from North Carolina to Arizona with my family when we had to move. That wasn't fun...

Hehe. My family is the same. I like to write a lot, and there is no comfortable, away from distractions place more than my bedroom. I sit on my bed with a Candy Land board in my lap as a makeshift desk (I hate my computer chair to no end) and I write like that. Most of the time, as there is my littlest sister running in and out of the bedroom, as we share, as well as Bree, my parents... grr. I usually have my ipod on, also, which drives my dad crazy because I can't hear him calling me then.
My parent's are the same, Ru. They just yell at me on why I don't have a life. But now that I'm 18, I can get a job. Money == whoot!
