"That is true, but I could have been more considerate and said something first. And don't worry, he is going to be yelled at later; for that and some other things." Anabell responded, with her eyebrows raised. "But I do have to say that I do love him, even with his "ignorance"?"
Suddenly Anabell grabbed the cloth around her stomach and clenched her eyes as if she was having an attack of some kind. "That is so not cool, starving them like that." Anabell whispered as she dropped to her knees.
---
Back in his office, Nathaniel leaned back in his chair trying to get some sleep, when suddenly he felt a "pull" on his mind; almost a tug of some sorts. He shook it off, trying to go to sleep, knowing that when he gets home, Anabell is going to have his head on a silver platter for doing that to her friend. Suddenly the "pull" was much stronger that he actually fell out of his chair and yelled "Bruja!" on the top of his lungs. He burst out of his office, and ran toward the front where Anabell was, hopefully. Before he jump the counter -again- he smelt roses; not the store brought roses either, the homegrown roses that only bloom under Anabell's thumb. He stopped right there, knowing what had to be done. He yelled "Ohey! Carolyn!", not caring if the whole mall looked at him at the moment nor how pissed she was at him.

"Anabell?" Carolyn asks, pushing the younger girl's apology to the side for now. "Anabell, are you all right?"
She crouches down beside her when she falls to the ground, gently resting her hand on the younger girl's shoulder. "What's wrong?" she asks, pulling out her cell phone in case she needs to call for help.
She doesn't look up when Nathaniel calls her name, just yells, "Fuck off!" before quieting her voice again. "Do you need me to call someone?" she asks, trying to lean over to get a look at Anabell's face.

"Get up, don't.." Anabell struggles with her words, not knowing what she is saying. The pain is throbbing now, almost as a heart beat. As the heart beats slower, it hurts more and more. "Babies..Hurt, you kneel. Stand." Tears are streaming down her face now. She justs wants it to stop. Wants the plants to stop taking her with them.
"Stop, please. I will help you , just let go." She silently tells them, not knowing if there is enough magic to get the magic across.
---
"Gods bless it Carolyn, I want to help! I know what needs to be done! I just can't do it!" Nathaniel is screaming now, with his voice and his magic. His magic couldn't touch her, nor his "hand" as Anabell willed him to stay there, stubborn bruja. He couldn't move now. "Carolyn, hate me, I don't care, JUST STICK HER HAND IN A POT OF DIRT. YOU HAVE ONE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU, BLOODY HELL. STICK HER HAND IN IT NOW!"

Carolyn's eyes go wide at Anabell's words. She's seen--rather, heard--her friend Jailbait a few times like that, when performing sealings. Oh, shit, something is very wrong.
And she knows a phone call won't do any good, so she drops her cell to the ground and rests her other hand on Anabell's arm, but Anabell isn't Jailbait and she isn't quite sure what's wrong so she doesn't know what to do, then she hears Nathaniel yell something about Anabell's hand and a pot of dirt and with a cry of "Krishna Shiva Vishnu, idhar aao!" she grabs Anabell's hand and shoves it into a nearby flowerpot, almost knocking the younger girl over with the force of it.
((Krishna, Shiva, and Vishnu are the three of the main gods of Hinduism--when Carolyn says it, it's like other people saying "For the love of God!" "Idhar aao!" means "Come here!" In Hindi.))

Suddenly the pain dulls, not gone completely, but it is dulling. She can feel dirt? Dirt? Between her fingers. Her hand is laced with dirt, dying dirt. Her head is suddenly filled with magic, magic that makes things.. Live.
The plant, in question, was miniature roses with queen ann's lace surrounding it. The buds were completely died out, the leaves were black as a corner stone. The lace was draped over the pot, holding on to it's last breath.
As soon as Anabell's hand touched the dirt, the plant took her magic and began to live once more. The buds grew out of their old shells and sprouted profusely. The lace wove itself around the roses and around Anabell's hand, which was still in the dirt. The roses started to grow around Anabell's hand. not caring that they were piercing her hand. They just wanted more power to grow, to call from.
Nathaniel is getting frustrated. He knows that she is fine now, but she is not completely fine.
"Carolyn, get her hand out NOW!" He bellows.

"For the love of--" Carolyn growls, yanking Anabell's hand out of the dirt. She's upset and frustrated and sick of Nathaniel yelling at her. Crouching down like this is painful, it's hurting her knees and her back and she's starting to feel nauseated and she just wants to go home.
She gently rearranges Anabell in her arms, then turns to Nathaniel and screams, "Stop fucking yelling at me!" She's extremely hurt and upset by the fact that she's getting screamed at, and though she hides it well, she can't hide it perfectly--her voice is shaky and breaks a little on the last word.
And Nathaniel is too far away to see it, but her eyes are a little watery from frustration and pain.

"Calm down, both of you. Please." Anabell mumbles, knowing that Carolyn could hear her and Nathaniel could read her lips.
Anabell slowly glazed upward, hoping the world wouldn't spin on her. She didn't want to scare Carolyn even more. She turned to Carolyn to see watery eyes, as if she was about to cry. She didn't know why though, but then again, when her attacks came like this, she couldn't hear anything.
"Honey, you can let me go, I am not going to fall and it looks like I should be holding on to you, actually."
Anabell stood up straighter, not caring that her muscles protested it. She had to prove to herself, and Carolyn that she was okay. She knew that she would pay for it later though, but she didn't care.
Later would come with hugs and back rubs from Nathaniel. Later would come with flowers that weren't suffering from no sunlight. Later would come with the Goddess's energy. But right now, she needed to get through, to be strong.
----
Nathaniel was able to move, finally. He hated it when Anabell froze him like that, but the lady did have her reasons for it, and she would explain them later.
Always later, never now. Nathaniel thought as he hopped the counter. He wanted to be by Anabell and he didn't care what people said. He loved her and she was suffering.
His one track mind almost missed the fact that Anabell wasn't the only one suffering. He looked at Carolyn, not knowing what caused it, or whom.
Whom? Ahh.. She was livid at him, again, but he deserved it. He did yell at a pregnant lady. And he knew that he would get yelled at by Anabell for doing it, but she didn't understand that he did get worried that he wouldn't be able to save her...
"Tu bene?" Nathaniel made it a question, not knowing if she was, after all, good now.
"Yes, No thanks to you.And you need to.." Anabell trailed off, knowing that Nathaniel would get the hint. If he didn't, well, he would be drowning in a hell'va lot of pain in about three, two..
"I am sorry, Carolyn. Truly I am. But you have never experienced one of her attacks, and they aren't her fault. Trust me. I had no right to yell at you, but if I didn't? Would you have understood the severity of the situation?"
Anabell glared harder at Nathaniel, not only to keep her steady, but to just give him that look that meant "you are getting hell, later".

Carolyn lets Anabell stand, in no position to protest. It's a huge struggle--she almost falls a few times and her knees almost give out--but she manages to make it back to her feet, rubbing at her lower back with one hand and covering her mouth with the other, just trying to breathe.
Then she looks down and notices that she left her phone on the ground. She curses under her breath, needing to reach down and get it but physically unable to do so. If she goes back down, she knows she won't come back up.
She doesn't look at Nathaniel at all while he speaks. Her eyes are closed, her head angled down as she grits her teeth, refusing to cry because crying is weak and pathetic and crying means she'll just get yelled at even more and crying means she's just a stupid little girl who can't take care of herself.
More than anything, she wants Raven right now, because Raven loves her and Raven is safe, but he's at work and while she knows that he would answer for her, she doesn't want to risk getting him in trouble with a manager if he isn't working with someone understanding.
After she catches her breath, she rests her left hand on her back, carefully bending back over to pick up her phone, flipping it open and quickly punching the first number that comes to mind into the keypad, completely ignoring anything Nathaniel might be saying.
"I'm leaving," she whispers, still looking at her phone before she brings it to her ear. "I hope you'll be all right, Anabell--"
Then Cass picks up her phone with a bright, cheery, "Hello! How are you?"
Carolyn turns her back to Nathaniel and Anabell, lowering her voice so only Cass can hear her. "Can you come pick me up?" she asks shakily. "I'm at PV mall. I have my car but I can't drive, my back hurts too much and I feel too sick--"
"You are?" Cass asks, her voice suddenly shrill with worry. "I'm actually right down the street at the game store. I'll be over in two minutes. Find somewhere to sit down and stay there, okay? Stay on the phone, I'll be there soon."
"All right. I'm in the food court, by the--" Carolyn pauses, looking up to find a landmark. "By the Panda Express."
"Okay," Cass says. "Stay there. I'll be right over."
"All right. Thank you."

Anabell looked down at the ground, which wasn't the smartest move in the world because the floor might fall up. Thank Gods it didn't this time.
"I.. " Anabell started. Nathaniel cut her off, once again, but this time, he wasn't worried about being yelled at. "We, Anabell, We." "Fine; We are more worried about you and your young'ns. My panic attacks, well, I am sorry for. I truly am, they can't be controlled, well, not yet." Anabell said, still not sure if she was making any sense what so ever. "Anabell is working on it though, and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I mean, it is hard sometimes, you know?" Nathaniel said, and then walked of toward.. somewhere, {Anabell wasn't sure where} mumbling to himself.
Anabell looked around. "Umm.. I know this sounds weird, but do you want to still hang out after this? I mean, without 'Thaniel and stuff? It is okay if you don't, I mean look at what happened just now..."

"You didn't do anything wrong, Anabell," Carolyn says softly. Her eyes are trained on the the ground, her cell phone still held to her ear. "Stop acting like you did and stop apologizing."
She bites down on her lower lip and closes her eyes, trying to stay calm, trying to get her bearings back, because she is not a stupid little girl who lets any stupid jerk who comes along get to her and--
"Carolyn!" a familiar, wonderful voice says, thin arms wrapping around her from behind, a warm cheek pressed against hers and Carolyn slumps back, resting her hands on top of Cass's. The blonde's eyes go wide and she squeaks, "Carolyn, what's wrong? What happened?"
Carolyn shakes her head, turning around in her Cass's arms and wrapping hers around her friend, burying her nose in Cass's shoulder.
"Carolyn?" Cass asks, her voice high with worry, and she looks around, trying to figure out what's going on and her eyes fall on a downtrodden girl with a guilty look on her face. Cass's eyes narrow and she growls, "What the fuck happened here?"
((OMG, sorry it's so badly written. I tried, really I did. >_>))
