"Zaza, we're going to be late! And it's going to rain!" Faye said, looking back at the broken wheel in one of the food caravans.
"Don't'cha think I know that?"
"Can't I just ride ahead and talk to him? I won't go into the camp--"
"NO!"
"GARGH!" Faye shouted back, storming off. She needed this to be over with - it was getting worse every time she went back in. Ryders were now trying anything they could to stop her from stealing the children back. Many were going as far as shooting arrows in her direction, hoping one would 'accidentally' hit her.
Faye stormed off in the general direction of the back of the traveling camp, fuming. Her contact, a Ryder mage that she called MD, had finally told her what she had wanted to hear for over six years; he had found a purple-eyed gypsy boy with a cat necklace.....and if they blew this meet, she knew that they wouldn't be able to try again for several months....
Her eyes, normally blue, were darkened beyond belief at this annoyance, and she had outlined them in kohl, giving them a demonic look. Waist length hair was pulled back into one continuous braid, tied in the back with a white strip of cloth. Faye's outfit was complete with a tighter, sleeveless shirt and pants that ended at the knee, both pitch black. It was easier to 'dim', as she put it, when she faded into the shadows. She was also tanned darker than most others, almost a dark brown from living her life in the sun.
"Joniak, fight me!" Faye yelled, digging her bare feet into the ground, fists up, when she saw him.
"No." All he wanted to do was get away from her in this mood. "Go fight Josselin."
Faye grinned. "Okay." She walked around Joniak, who watched her when she warily.
When she was about two feet past him, she said, "Yellow-bellied son of a pig coward."
That did it. He chased after Faye, who laughed, twisting out of his grip. That was one of her small magics -- getting away. Other ones consisted of being able to sneak past dragons, pick locks with only two hair clips and a small metal rod, could tell what time and direction she was facing, and undoing knots that couldn't be undone. She could also cast shields for herself and those within five feet of her, but not for long.
Faye ran past Josselin, who had his back turned to her. She reached out and undid his hair band, taking it off of him in less than a second.
Now she had two boys chasing her angrily. She turned into the forest, twisting in and out of the woods, almost twenty feet ahead of them.
"FAYE, STOP!" Josselin yelled.
She did, a stitch in her side from running too fast...but the stitch moved to her stomach. Gasping, her last breath caught somewhere between her throat and lungs, she fell forward. Pain made spots behind her eyes as her stomach clenched, and moved back to her spinal cord. Her eyes rolled upward as she was pulled back harshly by a great force.
Joniak burst into the spot where she just was. "Faye?"
"Where is she?"
"I don't know..."
Screams could be heard behind them, then the cry of an angry dragon. "Raid!" Joniak yelled, turning around and running back to the camp. Josselin followed him after a moment's hesitation.

Faye landed on her hands and knees, losing the dinner she had been forced to eat as her stomach settled back into it's right place. After emptying anything that was in there and might have remained in there from any other time she ate, Faye wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, noticing that she still had Josselin's hair band.
Sitting back, she wrapped the bandage around her wrist, knowing that he'd kill her if she lost it.
Where was she? This didn't look like the woods that she had ran through growing up. There wasn't any moss on any of the trees she could see, and no where in Rianix had moss-less trees.
"Joniak?" She called out, turning around, the trees empty of any familiar noises. "Josselin?"
Faye padded her way towards what she thought was south, confused. "JONIAK! JOSSELIN! WHERE ARE YOU?" She screamed as loud as she can.
((Closed between me an' Riemman, please, for now. She knows where I'm going with this....))
