These are annoyingly addictive... So I thought I'd start one here. It's a character quiz and it's really cool. Answer the questions about your character. Who knows? It might help you better understand the character you roleplay. =)
Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream:
From your character's point of view, in relation with peers/family, is it better to be loved than feared? Or better feared than loved? Would the answer be any different with any other group of people? If so, who?
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character?
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while?
Your character gets into a discusion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death?
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing?
Assume your character has just finished a month-long struggle against hard odds, working towards something of great value to her/him. Suddenly, the final stage of the opposition turns out to be stronger than s/he expected and your character is attacked where it's at it's weakest. It may not be a battle to the death, but it will definitely determine whether or not their quest is a success. Unexpected help arrives at the last moment. Would your character accept the stranger's aid? Would their response be different if it were a life or death battle?
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things?
Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important.
How does your character handle criticism?
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke?
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place?
What emotions can your character express in public? Sorrow? Anger? Sadness? Humour? Disappointment? Joy?
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses?
What does your character wear by preference?
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry?
Are your character's ears pierced?
What does your character find boring that others enjoy?
While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal?
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do?
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help?
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help?
When your character was young, they used to arm wrestle with an old friend of their fathers - and they always lost. After an absence of ten years, the friend has returned, looking much older and weaker. He/she challenges your character to a wrestle. Your character know that s/he can win. What do s/he do?
While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do?
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do?
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information?
What is your character's greatest fear?
Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good?

YAY! I love these things. I think I'll stick with Calypso for now, though I may come back and fill another in for others. Perhaps Laligin. That could be fun. Miaow. Heehee. Even though it really applies to modern day stuff, filling it in from a medieval fantasy point of view should be fun.
Calypso[/u]
Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream: He's trapped in an alley, blindfolded and gagged and held still by two men while four others beat the living daylights out of him. And it's a recurring nightmare because it happened to him and he can't forget it.
From your character's point of view, in relation with peers/family, is it better to be loved than feared? Or better feared than loved? Would the answer be any different with any other group of people? If so, who? Loved by friends and family, but he would rather be feared by his old Masters from the Weather College.
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character? He's a coward. When threatened with torture he'll betray just about anyone to save his own skin.
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while? Ha. He likes rain, and he's a weather mage - see the problem there? He also has a tendency to tell people things they already know, just to be on the safe side, especially if he's ever in charge of a group out on a mission or anything like that.
Your character gets into a discusion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death? Not going, or not knowing.
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description. He could be a little spiteful at that age, and he was somewhat of a bully, though that was mostly because he absolutely hated being at the Weather College and could only take it out on people weaker than himself. He didn't have any real friends, only followers who idolised him because he subtly rebelled against authority in the form of their teachers, the Weather Mages.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing? Any danger to himself or to his friends. If he reacted too fast there might be a lightning strike and that'd be the end of the poor random guy on the street.
Of course he would accept the stranger's aid! Survive and succeed first, ask questions later. He would probably be suspicious, but he'd be too grateful to think about it for a while.
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things? Hrm. For Calypso, that's an awkward question. He's not looking to settle down with anyone just at the moment, so he's not really thought about it. I gave him Laligin, who's not exactly "perfect spouse" material - half-wild, sharp-tempered, and very casual towards other people's lives. They get on alright.
Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important. Bearing in mind that nothing actually stays with Calypso his whole life - everything gets taken away from him at some point - the only item that stands out as being singularly important was an aventurine bracelet he got for Laligin, to match a necklace. He bought it in a market stall, and gave it to her to wear when they gatecrashed a party. After a while it was irritating her, as she wasn't used to wearing jewellery, so she gave it back to him to look after. Things got a little hectic, and he ended up running for his life for a while, leaving Lali thinking he was dead. He hung onto the bracelet for the five years it took until they met again, just so he could give it back to her.
How does your character handle criticism? Depends who it's coming from - and at what point in his life. If his brother tells him his plan isn't going to work, he'll grudgingly listen and pay heed. If anyone he doesn't like tells him why he's stupid, he'll just get angry with them.
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke? Generally, yes, he'll laugh. If he was to retaliate for such a harmless thing, it would have to be on the spot, and so would probably be more along the lines of a sarcastic comment rather than another practical joke.
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place? If we're talking serious life-or-death type revenge, he'd take the first opportunity and then get out of there as fast as possible.
What emotions can your character express in public? Sorrow? Anger? Sadness? Humour? Disappointment? Joy? Anything good, yes. Anger and disappointment as well, but he tends to keep grief and misery private.
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses? He's casual unless he's imitating someone. His commonest curse is "Sa Taalan!" which is the Asarlan (desrt-peoples) god of the wind. He spent a couple of years with them not too long ago, and picked up a fair few of their expressions.
What does your character wear by preference? He's not really that bothered how he looks. Practical boots, warm trousers, shirt and jerkin, and a decent cloak.
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry? Nope. He used to have (and sometimes does have in certain RPs) a grey cloth hairband, which is really too practical to be considered jewellery.
Are your character's ears pierced? Not any more. And never by choice. That was part of the whole alley incident.
What does your character find boring that others enjoy? Reading, writing, sword-fighting, drinking to excess...
While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal? (Purely objectively, seeing as he's a medieval fantasy guy) He sees to himself first! Then the car, which he might be able to fix if it's not too badly damaged, and which he needs to go anywhere. Then the dog, if everything else is fine. There's nothing he can do for the dog anyway, and he doesn't care about it unless it's Laligin shapeshifted, in which case she'll be able to shift out and be fine. No worries.
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do? Takes a good grip on the winds and investigates very very cautiously. If anything attacks him he's ready to fight back with a gale.
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help? Probably rush in without stopping to think and get into subsequent trouble. Silly little do-gooder that he can be.
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help? Ditto last answer.
When your character was young, they used to arm wrestle with an old friend of their fathers - and they always lost. After an absence of ten years, the friend has returned, looking much older and weaker. He/she challenges your character to a wrestle. Your character know that s/he can win. What do s/he do? Hesitates. Refuses unless the friend absolutely insists upon it, then reluctantly agrees. And, being this reluctant, and being Calypso, probably loses by not paying proper attention and getting kicked under the table.
While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do? Gets out of there fast. Feels guilty for a while then works hard to forget about it.
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do? It would depend how important the information was. It's doubtful that Caly would have the stomach to torture anyone when he knows just what it's like. He might hand the person on to someone who's capable of torture.
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information? Be uncertain and still hand the person on. They might know something, and it's all in a good cause, right?
What is your character's greatest fear? Pain. The threat of anything beyond a couple of punches will reduce him to a sobbing wreck. He's also absolutely petrified of blindfolds - a nice little hang-over from the alley again.
Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good? Not willingly! He'd be absolutely desperate to find an alternative. He'd happily flee the country, lie low and pretend to be dead (been there, done that, can do it again, sort of thing...) but he wouldn't ever be happy to die. He has too much to live for.

Jakkin
Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream:
There is fire everywhere. The heat is unbearable, and the cracking of splintering beams and screaming people fills the night air. Smoke blinds anyone present as the fire grows larger and larger.
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character?
I can’t really say that I hate anything about him, exactly, but I don’t like the fact that after I made him I picked up a Harry Potter book for the first time and, lo and behold, black hair, green eyes. Since then I’ve changed his eyes to blue, but I still think of him as having green eyes. Other characters would more likely be irritated by his tendency to rob anyone who stands still long enough- of course, anyone who holds his respect doesn’t need to worry about that.
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while?
Aside from the thieving, you mean? Then again, that’s not really small… He tends to slur his words together, and sometimes it even drives ME crazy to write it.
Your character gets into a discussion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death?
While Jakkin would prefer not to die at all, if he had to choose a way he would say that he would want to go out a hero. Taking down his worst enemy (which he has, though I’ve never incorporated him into an RP before) wouldn’t hurt, either.
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description.
At ten... that would be shortly after his parents' death. Jakkin more or less avoided human contact for a while that year, but after a few months he started being the wonderful thief he is. He's been called ruffian, murderer, bandit... but to chose one of those words up there I'd say bully is closest.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing?
Jakkin is very proud, so it wouldn’t take much to get him into a fight, but murder would be another thing. He’s killed for pay before, but only once, and will never do it again. Right? Jakkin: Yeah, yeah… Anyway, if someone tried to hurt his younger siblings he’d kill them for sure, or if he felt that his own life was threatened.
He'd take the help, all right, especially because he is never willing to give up what he wants unless there's no way around it. That's not saying the help will be rewarded later...
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things?
Jakkin: I HATE girls. Me: Ahem. Jakkin: Heh. Jakkin needs to mature a little bit before he thinks about girls.
Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important.
Jakkin refuses to be parted from his old dagger. It may be rusty and largely useless, but it holds sentimental value. When Jakkin's parents died he found it while sorting through the rubble left behind and recognized it as his father's. It had been handed down from generation to generation and Jakkin had not yet recieved it from his father. He took it with him despite that, and has had it ever since.
How does your character handle criticism?
It depends on who's doing the criticizing. If it's family, friends, or someone he respects, he'll go off and sulk for a while. If it's someone he's afraid of, he'll grit his teeth and pretend it doesn't bother him. If it's none of the above... get ready for a shouting match.
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke?
Again, it depends who does it. He'd most certainly get even, but it would only mean another joke if the original joker was his friend/family/respected aquaintence. Anyone else... Jakkin: *menacing snarl* Me: You're not that tough. Jakkin: *sulks*
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place?
Again again, it depends who does it. If it was someone he can stand he'll do it whenever he gets the chance, but if not, he'll likely draw knives and pick a fight.
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses?
"Gods damn!" "Shadow's blood..." (Looong story behind that one) Jakkin likes curses. A lot. His speech... at first I had him speak with grammar that my English teacher would kill me for, but I tired of that after about a week and had him talk normally. He doesn't always use perfect grammar, and he slurs his words (D'you, S'what, S'okay), but otherwise his voice is pretty much casual.
What does your character wear by preference?
Biggest and most important: no shoes! Other than that, Jakkin dresses very simply, preferably in black (a thief’s favorite color). When he’s out at night he wears a once-fancy, worn down black mask that he picked up at one masquerade that he wasn’t supposed to be at. Jakkin: Ayden made me do it.
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry?
Jakkin: *murders the idiot who came up with that question*
Are your character's ears pierced?
See above.
What does your character find boring that others enjoy?
Reading. Jakkin doesn't like anything that involves sitting still for very long, and he never quite got the hang of reading anyway. He CAN read, of course, but he stumbled over large words and would rather avoid books and such altogether. The exact opposite of me.
While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal?
I’m not going to ask what Jakkin was doing in a CAR… but he’d probably check on the animal. He doesn’t get along well with people, but he has no problem with animals.
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do?
1) Take out dagger. 2) Draw self up to full five-feet-two-inches. 3) Move around the corner and look as menacing and forboding as possible.
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help?
After steps one, two, and three, he would make sure that there was no threat to himself before he went to help.
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help?
Gender makes no difference.
While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do?
Okay, what idiot gave Jakkin a gun? He'd probably flee as well, for fear of getting in trouble. His guilt would drive him to stay close, though, and if he thinks the coast is clear he will probably try to help.
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do?
Depends on who it is. If it's someone he loathes, he'd do it in a second. Anyone else would probably be spared. Jakkin's been kicked around enough to know that torture just isn't playing fair.
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information?
See above.
What is your character's greatest fear?
Fire. Not campfires and magic fires and the like, but wild, raging, uncontrollable fire.
Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good?
Mmmmmmhmm... Jakkin: Mmmmmmhmm...

lol. That would be an interesting alliance. 'Course, Queezle is a new development, so she might bite someone's head off... *shrug*
I should do one of these for Ryan. I daresay that by now he has a mortal fear of vampires. *cackle* Ryan: NOT FUNNY!
Anola- she's Jakkin's little sister- would be REALLY hard to do, though, seeing as she's only seven, and Daran's only ten. Hm. I think I like playing kids too much.

*still giggling* Poor Ryan. Laligin[/u] Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream: Egh. That's awkward. You see, generally Laligin sleeps in the form of an owl or bat, or something equally nocturnal. The creature she's sharing a body with takes care of her mind and makes sure she doesn't dream. From your character's point of view, in relation with peers/family, is it better to be loved than feared? Or better feared than loved? Would the answer be any different with any other group of people? If so, who?A bit of both actually, but edging towards more feared, although perhaps respected is closer to the truther. She doesn't have many friends - Calypso and his brother mainly, and whichever of his other friends she happens to meet. And, being for one thing a girl and for another thing generally a good few years younger than them, she's always felt she has something to prove, so respect is more important than love. Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character?*hugs Lali, who squirms* I don't hate her! Although she can be a little bit slow to catch onto things sometimes, like how Calypso really feels about her. But then that's my fault for writing her like that, isnt it? Other characters could well be annoyed by her apparent arrogance - she always insists she can do just about anything, which, being a shapeshifter, she can. But they don't know that, do they? Oh, and she has a tendency to react like a wild cat if you try to touch her, even just to get her attention. As in: * hiss, yowl, scratch* Ouch. What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while?Staring. She doesn't mean to stare at people, she just watches everything, and doesn't quite realise that it unnerves people a little - or that there are tnings you're expected to look away from. If she does realise that, she doesn't care. Your character gets into a discusion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death? She'd quite like to choose when, and go painlessly. Otherwise she'll just keep shifting into a phoenix, and not go at all. What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description. At ten years old Lali was working very hard in her forest, trying out lots of new shifts and getting very good at being various different animals. She was also dancing a fair bit. So she was pretty much without human company, but not lonely because of her shifts. She was quite adventurous, and insisted on exploring places further afield than her forest as well. What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing?Eheh. It wouldn't actually take much to provoke Lali to kill someone. Just because she can, and has somewhat of a casual disregard for other people's lives. No, she wouldn't. She's proud enough to try and finish the job herself, and she wouldn't trust a stranger enough to let them help her. If it was life or death... if she had absolutely no other choice whatsoever, then yes. And if it wasn't a stranger who offered - for example, if Calypso turned up to help her - then she might. Perhaps. How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things? She's left it in the lap of the gods, really. She never really thought about it. As her creator, I'm saying that the perfect man for her has fairly long blond hair, blue eyes, is somewhat of a coward when it comes to pain, and happens to be a runaway weather mage. Oops, what a giveaway. Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important. Her necklace. It's aventurine, and not particularly expensive or beautiful, but Calypso got it for her when they first met. It matches her eyes. The cord broke on it fairly quickly - she was climbing too many trees and living out in all weathers too much for any string to last long - so she replaced it with a unicorn tail-hair, which has some very unusual properties. That means it's priceless to her both for sentimental value and for the incredible value of the tail-hair. She'd kill to get it back if anyone ever stole it from her. How does your character handle criticism? Not remotely well at all. She's always right, and that's that, whether you like it or not. So there. Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke?Ooh, that was a bad idea, whoever staged the joke. Laligin has no sense of humour when she's the one people are laughing at. Come to that, her sense of humour is somewhat limited anyway. So she'd get even on the spot, probably in the form of a slap or yell. Depending how she feels. Then she might sulk a bit. In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place?Laligin isn't much of a one for revenge unless it's immediate, the second after something's happened, and her temper's gone. She wouldn't plot a stakeout or anything just to get her own back. She'd probably bear a grudge but not act on it unless it was something like murder. What emotions can your character express in public? Sorrow? Anger? Sadness? Humour? Disappointment? Joy?Anger, essentially. She tries not to let her emotions show, but she does have a temper, so... Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses?Quite casual, with a few odd turns of phrase that she's picked up from various animal shifts over the years. Oh, and she swears in another language - the old language that humans knew before their split from the animal kingdom. What does your character wear by preference?Bare feet, ragged shirt and trousers that are a little too small for her, somewhat patchy, and coloured brown or green depending on whether it's mud, bark, or grass that's stained them. She also has a swordbelt, and a quarterstaff strapped to her back. Does your character wear makeup or jewelry?Just her necklace for jewellery. Does mud count as makeup? Are your character's ears pierced? No. What does your character find boring that others enjoy?Talking a lot - including planning, she'd much rather just act on instinct. The sort of parties and balls that nobles have are also very boring to her. While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal?(Purely objectively, seeing as she's a medieval fantasy girl ) The dog, of course. She can run, fly or swim if she has to, but she knows what it's like to be a dog, so she'd better ask if it's alright, and apologise for being so silly. Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do?Turns into an owl and floats round to check out the scene with night-vision. How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help?Turn into a black panther and slink round to investigate, then help/kill whoever she thinks deserves it. How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help?Ditto last answer but with less tolerance for the woman. If a man screams he's really in trouble, if a woman's screaming she could have broken a nail. Yes, Laligin is somewhat sexist. When your character was young, they used to arm wrestle with an old friend of their fathers - and they always lost. After an absence of ten years, the friend has returned, looking much older and weaker. He/she challenges your character to a wrestle. Your character know that s/he can win. What do s/he do?Agrees and wins and smirks. If she's challenged, then her opponent is obviously prepared for defeat. (And if she can win while human then her opponent is really not strong at all!) While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do?Doesn't even consider him. She doesn't know him, after all. She'd just go straight after her enemy. Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do?Probably torture the person. Information's useful, humans are ten-a-penny. How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information?Threaten first, then continue. What is your character's greatest fear?Losing her powers. Which equates to being utterly alone. Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good?Yes, if she had no other way out. Then become a phoenix and come back.

Shira
Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream: Joniak and Jared are surrounded by mages, trying to get them to cool off without getting into a fight. One of the other mages sends off the first bolt of magic. Jared eventually falls, and she rushes out from her hiding place to try to make sure he's okay, and then she blacks out.
From your character's point of view, in relation with peers/family, is it better to be loved than feared? Or better feared than loved? Would the answer be any different with any other group of people? If so, who? Loved over feared. As Shira says : Love conqures everything
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character? She trusts everyone too easily. Not everyone women would go to sleep in a campsite when there's a mage, a shapeshifter, a theif, and a Ryder who's looking for her while her boyfriends drunk.
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while? She has to have something moving - a finger, a hand, a leg. She's a musician so that's explained. She also does everything based off of her feelings. If she's mad, it shows. If she's sad, it shows. Etc.
Your character gets into a discusion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death? Fighting for something she truly and deeply believed, and dying because of it. Otherwise kicking and screaming.
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description. Submissive. She was a slave until she was eleven or so, so if she spoke up against the people watching her, she'd get thrown into the dark.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing? An insult that pertains to her lineage. She's real sensitive from where she came from.
She would definatly take the strangers help, knowing that she wasn't strong enough. As said before, she trusts people too easily.
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things? Joniak.
Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important. Jared's cloak, and his journals that Joniak found under a loose floorboard under his bed. After he died, she had cried herself to sleep. When she woke up, the cloak was around her.
How does your character handle criticism? Fine. She critizes herself all the time.
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke? She'd get even, and then beyond. For example (and laughs) On a hot summer night, Joniak stole her clothes when she went skinny dipping. The next night, when he was sleeping, she stole all of his clothes and buried it under horse manure.
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place? As soon as she can think of appropriate revenge.
What emotions can your character express in public? Sorrow? Anger? Sadness? Humour? Disappointment? Joy? All
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses? Totally informal, but she dosen't speak for the hell of it. Her favorite curse is "Fuck to all damnation" or "Shit" when things aren't going right.
What does your character wear by preference? Old boots (or no shoes at all) and anything that fits right.
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry? No makeup except on the equinoxs. Jewelry is the necklace that tells her who's around (Ryder, mage, etc), and a small ring sometimes.
Are your character's ears pierced? No, not yet.
What does your character find boring that others enjoy? Standing around doing nothing.
While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal? Animal. And then she'd run away.
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do? She'd throw out a magical net to try and figure out what's there before going to find out who's there.
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help? Run to help.
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help? Run to help.
When your character was young, they used to arm wrestle with an old friend of their fathers - and they always lost. After an absence of ten years, the friend has returned, looking much older and weaker. He/she challenges your character to a wrestle. Your character know that s/he can win. What do s/he do? Shira: "I had no friends."
While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do? Drop gun and run.
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do? She'd let Joniak beat the living daylight out of them, then pose as a healer mage and tell them she'd heal them if they speak. Repeat if no information is given.
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information? Information can still be gained for other things, no?
What is your character's greatest fear? Darkness. Heights. Iron.
Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good? Yes?? She wouldn't say.

Ayden N’marae, a.k.a. The Shadow
Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream:
He’s surrounded by everyone he’s ever cared about, and slowly, they all disappear. He tries to move and help them, but he can’t, and is forced to watch helplessly as they all vanish.
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character?
It’d be easier to ask what they LIKE about him. Ayden is about as low as you get- a thief, a murderer, a kidnapper… he’ll do just about anything for money, and he puts his trust in almost no one. He tends to lord it over everyone else, too.
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while?
He picks at his fingernails with his knife. Oooooh, so annoying! Ayden: *picks at fingernails with knife* Ru: *cringe*
Your character gets into a discussion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death?
Ayden: Dying to save my friends (or Rhianna), and leaving a mark in the world behind. Of course… *smirk* Who could ever forget the Shadow?
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description.
Oh, God, Ayden was such a GIT. He was snobby enough to get on anyone’s nerves. He wasn’t very popular, but he had his ‘friends’ within his street gang.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing?
Just about anything. Ayden’s freakin’ ruthless. Money, insults, lies, boredom… ^_^
If it wasn’t life or death, Ayden would NEVER accept help. He might offer it if he saw some sort of benefit in it for him, but unless he will die without it, he will never accept anyone’s help. Jakkin: *laughs* Ayden: *sulks* Two-faced brat.
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things?
One word: Rhianna. Ayden’s already found his soul mate.
How does your character handle criticism?
Not well. Enough said.
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke?
Nobody plays a prank on Ayden and gets away with it. Nobody. Getting even means a little more than a practical joke…
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place?
Cold. Revenge is sweet, and nothing should ruin the moment. Best to plan.
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses?
When he’s just hanging around, his voice is very casual. He uses proper grammar, but his tone is always rather light, unless he’s angry. When he’s thieving, though, or trying to intimidate someone, his voice gets very formal and he speaks delicately. Thinks it’s frightening.
What does your character wear by preference?
Black, black, and more black! While all of the Raiders wear black masks, Ayden feels that as their leader he needs to distinguish himself. His mask has a long beak that sticks out. Most think it looks very sinister. Rhianna says it’s ridiculous. Jakkin says it’s hysterical.
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry?
Ayden: I can do worse than what Jakkin did to the idiot who made up this question.
Are your character's ears pierced?
Yes. One small, gold hoop in his left ear from a run-in and join-up with pirates.
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do?
Investigate! What’s life without taking risks?
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help?
Probably keep walking… unless there’s a benefit in it for him.
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help?
Probably help. It still depends on if it will benefit him.
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do?
Use the torture. Information is good, but everyone knows that mental and physical torture are fun. Right? Right?!
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information?
That makes it even better!
What is your character's greatest fear?
Ayden: Me? Fear? I have no fear! … yeah, okay. *eyeroll* He’s afraid of going underground.

Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream: There's screaming going on around him and people running everywhere. He's running among them holding a small kitten and looking for someone. He sees them a little ways away calling his name, but before he can reach them he's lifted off the ground suddenly, dropping the kitten. Then he blacks out.
From your character's point of view, in relation with peers/family, is it better to be loved than feared? Or better feared than loved? Would the answer be any different with any other group of people? If so, who? It depends. With family, he'd like to be loved, but wouldn't feel worthy, so he'd settle for being indifferent. With anyone else, he'd like to be feared.
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character? I don't really hate much about him, except for his consistently arrogant attitude most of the time that would definately get on people's nerves. He can also be rather brutal when necessary.
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while? He tends to brush people off or pretend to ignore them unless they do something to set him off.
Your character gets into a discusion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death? He would want to die in battle. Preferably for something he believes in, but it's not necessary. He'd hate to die due to illness or old age or something just as mundane.
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description. At age ten, Riemman had been with the Ryders for three years and was being trained to become one. He was beat a lot because he wasn't the most obedient of children. He was already a lot like he is now, just to a lesser degree. He was snarky and sulky, and rebelled a lot. He did, however, learn how to keep his anger in and not show it in order to avoid beatings.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing? Definately an attack either on himself or a friend, especially if it caught him off guard. He'd also want to kill any person that tried to manipulate him into doing what they wanted. He has a special hate for those people.
Riemman would not accept the stranger's help, life or death battle or not. It wouldn't be a matter of trust, but simply a matter of pride.
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things? Riemman's more than a little messed up due to his stay with the Dragon Ryders. The corrupt and cruel ones often abused and took advantage of him in more ways than one, and as a result he doesn't think himself capable or worthy of ever really falling in love, getting married, etc. Personally, I think Riemman's a little too self-punishing. Just a little. >_< Gender wouldn't really matter to him as long as he loved the person and said person loved him back.
Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important. Riemman's greatest treasure is a silver choker with a small cat charm. He wears it all the time although it's usually hidden by his turtlenecks. It was given to him by Zaza, a couple years before he was taken. It was the only hint of his former life that he was allowed to keep.
How does your character handle criticism? Depends on who it's from. If it's from a person he hates, he'll ignore it completely. If it's from a person he likes or respects, he'll consider it. If it's useful, he'll fix what needs to be fixed and move on.
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke? He might find it amusing, depending on what the practical joke was and who played it, but he wouldn't show it beyond a smirk. He'd definately get even, and, again, how he did would depend. He might play another practical joke if it were a friend, but he might do something more serious if it were anyone else.
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place? Definately cold. Riemman has a hot temper, but he knows how to wait for the right opportunity.
What emotions can your character express in public? Sorrow? Anger? Sadness? Humour? Disappointment? Joy? Generally anger, arrogance, and neutrality. In private, or with someone he trusts, he'd open up more and show sadness, happiness, etc.
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses? He's pretty casual in his speech. He knows how to speak formally, but he chooses not to most of the time. His favorite curses are "fuck", "damn", and "sykken", a particularly nasty gyspy curse. He will also tend to curse in the wyvern-tongue.
What does your character wear by preference? He's usually wearing his Ryder outfit which consists a tight, black, sleeveless turtleneck with a blood red short vest, dark brown leather pants, and black boots, all complete with his various Ryder emblems. The supposedly mandatory black mask is usually forsaken in Riemman's case; he was never very obedient. When he's not wearing his Ryder clothes, he likes wearing loose pants and a small, midriff-baring shirt. He prefers not to wear shoes.
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry? Besides his choker and a small silver hoop through his left ear, no.
Are your character's ears pierced? Yes, his left.
What does your character find boring that others enjoy? Drama and theater.
While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal? The dog first, then himself, then maybe the tree. And do I really want to know why Riemman's driving?
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do? He whips out his knives and investigates, usually hacking first and asking questions later.
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help? He'd sneak up to where he heard the scream and decide whether he wants to help or not based on the situation.
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help? see above
When your character was young, they used to arm wrestle with an old friend of their fathers - and they always lost. After an absence of ten years, the friend has returned, looking much older and weaker. He/she challenges your character to a wrestle. Your character know that s/he can win. What do s/he do? Smirk, accept, and gloat his win.
While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do? He'd feel incredibly guilty and present himself to the man's family for what they should deem appropriate punishment.
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do? Go through with it. However, he will not torture children period, or anyone else if it were possible to obtain the information without it.
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information? He wouldn't go through with it.
What is your character's greatest fear? Being at someone else's mercy.
Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good? Yes. He's got a big guilt-complex.

Argh! I had answered all the questions and what do I get- My stupid connection that effects my computer and I can't post it! If you are wondering this is the same reason why I must sometimes post two times for one reply. Ha, sometimes it feels like every electronic thing that comes into my house is screwed. Just like my household.

Your character is plagued by a recurring nightmare. Describe the dream: Ryders constantly raided the gypsy camp, usually just for the hell of it, or to steal children for their own purposes. He'd nearly been caught several time himself -- his nightmare consists of him being caught, then being used as a tool against his family members. He also dreams about the children he couldn't save, the children that were stolen in front of him.
From your character's point of view, in relation with peers/family, is it better to be loved than feared? Or better feared than loved? Would the answer be any different with any other group of people? If so, who? Loved over feared.
Describe what you (the player) hate about your character. What are good reasons for other characters to dislike/hate your character? I just hate how he likes alcohol so much. He's also a new[er] character.
What little, minor bad habit does your character have that would annoy anyone after a while? He zones out. He has a major case of ADHD, even though it's medieval times and there's no such thing. And he gets bored easily.
Your character gets into a discusion about death and dying. How would s/he describe the perfect death? Painless. He's not that big into pain (why do you think he drinks so much?)
What was your character like at the age of ten? Was s/he a wimp, a bully, a nerd, a snitch, or a klutz? Popular or not? Write up a little description. Taller than most kids his age at the gypsy camps. Joniak's also the grandson of Zaza, the main leader and operator of the camp, so a lot of duty was placed on him to watch over the younger kids.
What would provoke your character to murder a random guy on the street? A lie? An insult? An attack? A crime against one of your friends? Nothing? All, and none, of the above. It depends on what's going on and who's watching.
Joniak's answer: "Kill or be killed. Life sends you shit to defeat, and cheats while it's at it. Why not cheat back if fate sends you some help?"
How would your character describe their perfect mate/spouse? Do you, the creator agree? How is s/he mistaken? Overly idealistic? Or is your character looking for all the wrong things? Shira.
Everybody has some little item that they regard as somehow sacred. A piece of clothing, a memento of some event, whatever. What is your character's sacred item? Tell the story of how they found it, or why it came to be important. A wooden ring on his left hand, given to him by Shira, with the infinity loop etched on it.
How does your character handle criticism? If it's from Shira about how stupid he is, he replies with "But I love you...." However, if someone he knew criticize him, he'd smart off to him.
Your character is the butt of a practical joke. Can they see the humour in it? Would they get even? Does getting even mean staging another practical joke? After Shira buried his clothes in horse manure, he threw her in horse manure. That explain it?
In exacting revenge, would your character serve it hot, as soon as possible after the offense, or cold, awaiting a perfect time an place? As soon as possible. Why wait?
What emotions can your character express in public? Sorrow? Anger? Sadness? Humour? Disappointment? Joy? Pain is always hidden, to be drunk away. Any "good" emotion is allowed.
Describe your character's voice. Would you say s/he speaks with formality? Casually? Does s/he have any favorite expressions or curses? He grew up with the gypsys so he speaks whatever on his mind, even if it'll get him into trouble. And his favorite swear word is 'gudvas' or motherfu**er.
What does your character wear by preference? Nothing. Otherwise loose clothing and absolutely no shoes.
Does your character wear makeup or jewelry? No makeup except on equinoxes. Jewelry - wooden ring on left hand.
Are your character's ears pierced? Two earrings in right ear, one red one for reaching his 19th birthday (its a gypsy thing) and one blue one just for the sake of it.
What does your character find boring that others enjoy? These damn questions.
While driving down the road, your character hits a dog and swerves off the road into a tree. Does your character see to the car first, or the animal? None of the above. He'd run away.
Your character is walking home in the dark when it hears some noises around the corner. What does it do? Keep walking. There's always noises -- you can't investigate all of them.
How would your character act above if they heard a man cry out for help? Run to defend them. He's been in their shoes, so he knows what it's like to not receive help when he needs it.
How would your character act above if they heard a woman cry out for help? Same as above.
When your character was young, they used to arm wrestle with an old friend of their fathers - and they always lost. After an absence of ten years, the friend has returned, looking much older and weaker. He/she challenges your character to a wrestle. Your character know that s/he can win. What do s/he do? Refuse. Tell the truth. Shake hands on time past.
While in a gun fight with an enemy, your character inadvertently shoot a man on his way home from work. After his/her enemy flees, your character sees that the man is dead. What would he/she do? Go to the nearest bar and drink away the memory.
Your character has the opportunity to gain some information by torture, what would they do? Answered in Shira's thing.
How would they act above if they were not certain that the victim had any information? Answered in Shira's thing.
What is your character's greatest fear? He'd never admit it, but becoming a father. He's afraid of making a mistake, or screwing up in front of something that is looking to him for care and support.
Would your character die if he/she knew it was for the better good? ....yes. As long as Shira was okay. If she wasn't, he'd kill himself for the better good.
