Okay, there is a long story behind Homecoming, so if I leave anything out (and Bree would point it out to me) I apologize now. Plus random pictures!! ^^
Our school has a homecoming pep rally, usually last class of the day before homecoming game and dance. This year we were going against the Proviso East Pirates.
So, my dean and some of the coaches, in pirate clothing, came out and sang, "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"
Surprisingly, everyone said the "Sponge Bob Square Pants" theme song. In unison. When we are between the ages of 15-18.
And then our school mascot (the Eagle) came out with some of the athletes, and beat up the Pirates with............... *pause for dramatic effect* pool noodles.
So school was finally over. I didn't go to the game this year, and it was a good thing. About five o'clock or so, as we're watching Princess Mononoke on our DVD player, my mom calls and says to turn on the news. Apparently, there's a tornado warning, as well as watch, in much of Cook county (that's mainly Chicago, and many of it's suburbs). Every time the tornado sirens came on, we had to go in the hallway with blankets to wait out the sirens before we could finish the movie.
The frosh game was postponed, because of the tornado warning (I don't know the score of the game, if they ever played it). And the varsity team...... lost 14-0.
Yeah, we suck. Other years, games were as bad as 54-10 (lost) and other scores like that. I know you're supposed to stand by your team, but when we can't even score at HOMECOMING it's pretty sad.
So, to Homecoming dance, and pictures.
Our friend Age is in this one. Bree's in blue, and I'm in pink. Oh, and I was wearing this floor length skirt, black. But it got really hot out on the dance floor, so, by the ending of the dance, the skirt was tucked into the waist, and only knee length. Just to show I'm not a prude, which is what most people call me until they meet me in person.
;D
Another story from the dance. Our friend Tucker (pic in a min) didn't want to dance with anyone in our group. There we were, me, his ex-girlfriend for goodness sake, Bree, Age, Megan (didn't get one of her), Amy, and Amy's friend. But
no, he didn't want to dance. So I told him if he didn't dance with us, he was going to dance with Lukas, this really really (and I mean
really) flamboyant gay guy that went to the dance with Dave.
He still wouldn't dance.
So I made them dance.
Proof, you say?
Tucker is the one on the far left, scowling, Lukas is in the middle, and Dave's on the right end. Tucker wasn't really happy with me after that, but he danced better, so....
And I saw my friend Debbie there, so I got a piccah of me and her. Bottoms up!
And now two other pictures of me, just for the hell of it.
That's me and my friend Jose, whom I call Sexi. Ain't he? ^^ And he lets me play with him at lunch, but shush! I ain't supposed to tell anyone that.
And in this last one, I was still sick, and Bree sort of ambushed me as I was writing in my book. So....
And that's it folks! Enjoy!! More pictures when Halloween is over, with me and my pretty sailorfuku! ;D
And I'm sorry that they're really big. Lali complained, so this is what you're stuck with.
