((OC: Meh. Kinda general, I guess, although I think I'm pushing the envelope a bit. My character's half-incubus, but I don't plan on having anything of a graphic nature occur. However, should it ever come to that point, this thread'll probably be moving to a more permanent home on the Mature section of the boards. For now, though, I think it's safe to have it live here. XD
Now that that's out of the way, anyone's welcome to join, if they so choose. Just pick a flavor, any flavor. Other vampires, lycans, incubi, succubi, humans, slayers, demons, it's a free-for-all basically. Have fun.))
IC:
Music pulsed around him, washing over him in waves. His chest vibrated with the strong beats of the bass, a deep feeling that threatened to overwhelm him each time he closed his eyes. But losing control would be a bad thing; the music was liable to carry him too deep into the feeding trance.
Cracking golden eyes open as the feeling grew too intense, he surveyed the crowd. The club, Celestial Requiem, was packed tonight; it was a weekend night, Saturday night to be exact. At the bar, men and women downed drinks or ordered them to take back to their tables. On the dance floor people writhed to the music, moving as one creature driven by a primal need, losing themselves to the tumultuous waves of sound. It was these he fed from.
Being half-incubus could be troublesome at times, especially when it came to feeding, but skimming off the top of a throng of ravers made things much easier. After all, he didn't feed on sex itself, just the feelings of arousal and energy. And since such feelings were naturally-occuring in dance clubs, he could just take a little from each person and feel perfectly satisfied with his "victims" feeling nothing more than slightly more tired than usual come tomorrow morning, none the wiser as to his feeding habits.
Giving a soft sigh, he cut off his drain on the energies in the room. He gotten a big enough meal to last him until next Friday night, another packed night, with only a few small snacks in between. Of course that only took care of one craving. There were times he really and truly cursed his parents for having him. After all, being the son of a succubus and a Master vampire was no easy thing. Ah well, he'd lived this long hadn't he? And had managed to become a Master himself. He was much older than the scarce twenty-five he appeared to be.
Rising from his seat in a back corner table, he strode gracefully towards the mass of people in the center of the room. Dressed in tight, low-rise, leather pants with a few chains, a short-sleeved mesh shirt and black boots he certainly looked like he belonged in the club. The black-velvet choker and the black jelly bracelets around his wrists completed the image.
Running a hand through his medium-length ebon locks, he surveyed the crowd. Nothing that appealed. Well, if he couldn't find something at first glance, then he'd just go prowl. Who knew when someone tasty'd show up? An eager smirk graced pale features as Xyphos, the half-incubus Master Vampire of the area stalked forward on a hunt.
((OC: For those who are wondering, my sudden fascination with creating 'X' names(Riemman's childhood name Saix) comes from my current obsession with Kingdom Hearts II. Just thought I'd let you all know. XD))

Awww...come on Ru!!! The incubus thing isn't really gonna go anywhere beyond the mass feeding. At least at this point nothing like that's planned. Please? Pretty please? With a cherry on top? *big watery chibi puppy eyes*

"I think I can safely say," Cole said in an undertone, "that this is the stupidest idea you've ever had."
His friend's eyes narrowed at him. "It's not," the other boy objected. "I know exactly what I'm doing. We don't have to stay here long."
A third voice spoke up, this one female. Her glittering blue eyes sparkled with disdain. "We don't have to stay here at all. It's your stupid pride, Jack. We're going to get caught for being underage."
Cole frowned to himself. The only one who was likely to get caught was him. His friends, Jack and Mariah, had dressed in such a way that he would never have suspected they were capable of. The usually bright and colorful Mariah had traded in her wardrobe for something that made her resemble a hippie funeral-goer: a rather uncomfortable-looking black shirt, black jeans that had been artfully ripped, and black combat boots. "My sister," was the explanation she'd given when the three of them had met outside the post office. Mariah's red hair, normally curly and bouncing, had been straightened and combed until it hung down limply at her side. The fifteen-year-old looked nearly seventeen, and could probably pass for eighteen if she pushed it.
Jack had done much the same, wearing all black. His already pale skin contrasted the color, and added on top of his black hair, it made him look white as a ghost. Jack was sixteen and already taller than either Mariah or Cole.
Cole glanced down at his own attire. He hadn't bothered to change from his school clothes. Khaki jeans, an orange T-shirt that blared the heading, "SUNCREST 2004: REALLY BIG BONFIRES", and white tennis shoes that were so battered he couldn't even remember what brand they were. Amidst the atmosphere of Celestial Requiem, he stuck out like a sore thumb. And they hadn't even stepped past the threshhold yet.
Cole was jerked back to the present as Jack spoke again. "Trust me. I know what I'm doing. This is guarenteed to work."
Mariah rolled her eyes. "If you say so."
Without another word, the three of them separated. Jack melted into the crowd so easily that Cole suspected he'd been here before, and Mariah hesitated a moment before walking to the far wall and squeezing her way forward, leaving Cole standing in a doorway that he knew full well none of them should have come through.
OOC: Sorry that kinda sucked... but I'm having a shouting match with my mother at the moment. *anger*

“C'mon!” shouted an ecstatic youth back to his friend.
“I'm coming, Randy!” a girl shouted back as she sidled her way past others in line whose stares she ignored. I don't belong here, was the only thought that came to mind. Her natural blonde hair was not Marilyn Monroe more a few shades darker, but she knew she would probably be the only girl in there with two pig-tail braids. She tripped once on her too long Lucky jeans that she insisted upon wearing because most of her others were too short. Collecting her book The Crucible, she brushed grime off her black favorite tee Gap shirt and frowned at her muddy Converses.
“Tess, you okay?” came the same voice that had shouted at her before.
All she could manage was a weak smile as she joined him in line. Unlike herself Randy fit in anywhere by just being himself; his Grateful Dead shirt and dark jeans were compliments of Tessa's brother but Randy looked great in them. The wild look in his green eyes, to his rumpled brown hair, every thing about him just seemed perfect- well almost.

Jesting back a wolfish grin Randy handed the security guard, their IDs then pocketed them when they were inside. “You wanna dance, Tess? Or maybe a drink?” The questions were mainly for himself, since this was his first time ever to be out from under his employer's- or rather master's- wing. Luckily for him Tessa was his next door neighbor who had read Dracula enough to know to add garlic to her family's meals and add it as a decoration when his master moved into the creepy Victorian house across the lane.
“I'll be in the corner finishing my book,” she held up her novel and gestured to the dance floor. “I'll get you when it's time to leave.” Searching the crowded club for a deserted corner, she shrugged and turned back to her friend who was just about to join a trio of girls. “Wait, Randy,” she placed a hand on his shoulder for the effect. “Be careful and don't drink anything here.”
He nodded with sincerity before disappearing in the crowd altogether.

He scowled his head in his hands as he stared out into the crowd. He had a headache, and the loud music wasn’t helping anything. Add onto that a severe case of over arousal (and it was all because of his girlfriend and her roaming hands before she broke up with him) and the fact that he had been sitting here looking over at the success of his club for no real reason didn’t make him a real happy person.
An annoyed blast of hair came out of his mouth, blasted upward, but it only shifted the bangs that had fallen into his eyes. His hair, a muddy brown, had never been under control, and how was currently trying to resemble a bird’s nest. Multi-colored eyes – the left one green, the right one blue—peered out in-between the locks of hair in his way. Nothing particularly special stood out about him, and that was the way he wanted to keep it. In fact, he looked the total opposite of what he really was.
Yoshiko stood up, pulling the overcoat around him. It was getting too hot in there for him anyway – even a cold shower before he came here hadn’t solved his current problem. The navy blue overcoat stopped around his shins, and lose jeans poked out from underneath. Cowboy boots clonked onto the floor as he started towards the boar. The white collar of a dress shirt poked out from the front of his coat. He always looked like he was about to go and talk to an owner of a huge business he was going to buy, but that was him.
He sat on one of the barstools.
“Hey Yoshi! Whatcha want? It’s on the house.”
“Sex on the beach.”
“The drink or the real thing?”
Yoshi smiled, as the blonde haired blue-eyed bartender had wanted him to. “Sorry, Take, but the beaches are too far away.”
“But you do know that a lot of sand next to a pool does the same thing.” Jake quickly made, and served, the ordered drink. “Who knows- I got vacation next month.”
“We’ll see. Now get back to work.” He quickly downed the drink as Jake scowled at him before moving on to the next customer. It was nice knowing everyone that worked for him.
Yoshiko contemplated on another drink before walking away. He had already had several drinks, and it wouldn’t take long for the effects of this one to kick in. He made his way to the door, trying to get through the throngs of people.
His tongue played over his teeth. Maybe on his way back to the hotel – since he had been drinking, and it wasn’t that far away- he’d find someone for a snack. Then he would get possibly get some sleep.
He wasn’t watching where he was going, and accidentally bumped into Xyphos. “Sorry, Master,” he apologized.

An apology caught Tess's attention. "Master", now there was a word that was not heard on a daily basis. Good thing she had been facing that direction or she never would have picked out business man who'd spoken and the pale faced Matrix poser who blended in perfectly with the rest of the darkly dressed young adults. So maybe he really was not obsessed with The Matrix, but that was how Tess liked to classify shadowy people, almost in their prime, who liked to hang out here. But of course this was one of the only places that was 'suitable' or 'appropriate' for Randy to come- his master had a serious problem with keeping Randy out of trouble. That was where Tess came in; she took Randy out at night and her vampire neighbor kept away from her family and friends.

A short, estatic howl erupted from a throng of dancers. Concerned but cold eyes found the lycan quickly dancing up a sweat with two dead-looking twins. His carefree eyes caught hers and she conveyed her message of warning clearly, but he gave her an "everything's fine" laugh and turned his back. Tess felt her hands clench and her eyes stab needles at the dancing zombies. Letting out a small huff and a stomp she took a breath of suffocating air. She had always felt a soft spot for the wild wolf-boy, but usually his instincts never caught on when something was undeniably wrong.

Bumping into Yoshi quickly gave him a headache. At least the boy had the sense to acknowledge his superiors. But the obvious charge of arousal around him was both making him salivate and making his head hurt. So, growling slightly, he brought up a finger to poke him squarely in the forehead, alleviating the other of a most likely painful and annoying problem and giving himself a substantial snack. He hummed lightly in satisfaction.
Glancing down with half-lidded golden eyes he took in the other's appearance. "So what brings you into my territory?"
A short howl made him glance up, once he located the source, he brushed it off as typical lycan exuberance. He looked back at the other vampire, awaiting a response.

"Traveling. Family matters. Sir." Yoshiko said finally, gulping, after the headache and his arousal disappeared. He had heard of Xyphos, and the crossbredding that had creating him, but he hadn't known how helpful it could be.
He was slightly disgusted at himself for being this....submissive, but when you're faced with someone that was the Master Vampire of the whole entire city, almost, and someone that could take his life and no one would challenge it, you would be too.
"Thank you." Yoshiko finally said.

Territory? That was more of a wolf's thing unless . . . She did have a vampire neighbor so it could be possible that other vampires lived in the over-populated city. Tess had often thought about this, only to be reassured by Randy that his master was the only vampire. What if that was what Randy and his psychopathic master wanted her to think? What if there was really an entire cult of vampires and lycans planning to overtake the city?
As thoughts rolled through the girl's head she was unaware that she had gotten closer to the territorial man and the traveling businessman. Tess knew she should stay out of possibly dangerous situations, but she had read too many Anne Rice books and seen too many Buffy episodes. Of course, her obsession hadn't started until her neighbor had become a suspected vampire; before that she had been in to all the classical novels and hung out with her friends on weekends.

Tess found an empty seat and sat across from a couple who were too concerned with each other to notice she had taken a seat with them. Opening The Crucible, she kept her eyes cocked on the suspected pair of men while keeping her head down. Though ever so slowly her head began to turn to where anyone could have told that she was 'spying' on the 'men'. Sometimes the cautiously curious girl could let her guard down.

Cole stuck close to the wall as he wandered, listening closely to pick up short threads of conversations. Nothing sounded like anything that could help him- or Jack, for that matter- so he moved on, reluctant to leave the wall. He nearly jumped out of his skin as someone touched him on the shoulder.
"What- damn it, Mariah!" The girl grinned apologetically. "Any luck?" she asked. "I found Jack, he was showing off for a couple of girls. Idiot."
Cole shook his head. "If Jack wants this so much, fine," he said, "but we should've let him come on a wild goose chase by himself. Do you have any idea how much trouble we'll get into if-"
"If," Mariah interrupted. "Keyword. If." With that, she turned away from him and disappeared into the crowd.
"Damn it, Mariah," Cole muttered again, turning to listen to yet another thread of conversation.
OOC: Whoot! An entire post of absolutely nothing! YEAH! *jams*

Xyphos waved off the thank you. "You were giving me a headache. You know, if things put you in that bad a state you should finish them," he informed the other somewhat deadpan as he glared lightly at the younger vampire.
Sighing softly, he made another sweep of the club, making sure nothing was amiss, before turning back to Yoshi. "How long are you going to be in town?"

Xyphos nods absently. His stomach was clamoring for food while he felt pleasantly stuffed. He hated being a crossbreed sometimes. It could get especially annoying when his body sent him mixed signals like this.
"Any other relatively important business I should know about?" he asks idly. He doesn't really expect the other to answer an affirmative, but asks anyway for the sake of keeping track. Being Master Vampire was no easy task, after all. He had to keep track of every vampire in the city and surrounding area, whether or not he actually had contact with them, and keep on good terms with Lycan pack leader and heads of other creature groups. Not to mention that he had the responsibility of making sure any creature within his general vicinity was being somewhat well-behaved and careful. If humans found one group they'd eventually find them all, and then who knows what would happen.
But he was hungry dammit. "Have you fed?" he asks, almost not bothering to wait for a reply. "Come hunt with me."
