Role Play Sample: The city wasn't quiet; it never was, no matter the time of day. Even now, in the middle of the night, cars passed by, their headlights almost blinding in the not-quite-dark of the streets, illuminated by the streetlamps overhead. It was a warm summer night, so there were still people walking on the streets despite the late hour - people going home or hopping from club to bar to club. A few students from the nearby university passed by, giggling and flirting amongst themselves as they headed in the direction of the city's most popular nightclub, Revolution. A lone policeman sipped at his coffee from with within his squad car parked at the corner of the street. A dog barked from somewhere, and in a small area between two buildings a twitching heroin junkie got his fix from an equally twitchy guy in a light summer jacket and baggy jeans.
Riemman watched all of this indifferently from where he was perched atop the roof corner of a two-story building belonging to an insurance company. The goings-on of the people below sometimes amused him, but other times he felt like killing them all for being so stupid and closed-off to the world outside their perfect little bubbles. His long, purple-tipped, black hair blew in his face from the gentle breeze blowing against his back, and he pushed the strands back in one smooth motion, his eyes never straying from the world below.
He had been one of them, once. Although, perhaps with not quite so many luxuries. But he had gone through the motions of living, seemingly assured of his place in his perfect little bubble world. He had studied, done well in school, had gone on to university, graduated with honors, and tried to make a life in the fleeting little mortal world. He smirked lightly at the thought. Poor, foolish little mortals. How blind you all are. The thought was almost tauntingly cruel, but it was softened by the tinge of affection and slight longing to return to the blissfully naive state.
Riemman sighed and stood, walking over to the fire escape and climbing down the four flights of emergency stairs. He could have jumped, but why needlessly exert oneself? Reaching the street he had watched so intently for some time, he began walking the same path the university students had taken not twenty minutes ago. Watching was nice, but he still had to feed.
The Genres: I'll play anything, although I'll probably play Harry Potter and Fantasy stuff the most.
